Soft Grain Bread
Ingredients
2 eggs (beaten)
2 tablespoons honey
2 1/2 cups soft grain flour
1/2 cup wholemeal flour
4 tablespoons sunflower oil
1 teaspoon dry yeast
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cool water
Method
The subtle flavor of honey makes this bread perfect for a tea party.
Place the ingredients into the baking tin starting with the liquid first. All ingredients should be at room temperature. Place the salt and honey around the outside of the rest of the mixture. Add the yeast as the last ingredient in a small hollow in the flour.
